The firm represents Cities throughout Minnesota in litigation matters as City Attorney, Special Counsel and as appointed Counsel through the League of Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust. Representative issues include, but are not limited to, contract matters, annexation matters, land use, constitutional/taking, personnel/labor, tax increment financing, eminent domain, construction, real estate and environmental law. The firm has represented cities and their officials in over 250 cases. The cases have involved appearance in both state and federal district, the Minnesota Court of appeals and Supreme Court and the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals.
